Application of 3D Printing in Education
3D printing is a rapid prototyping technology which allows users to quickly and easily convert a digital 3D model into an object. It has become an increasingly popular method of manufacturing due to its versatility and convenience. 3D printing has also found its application in education, providing educators with the ability to easily create physical models of concepts and curriculum resources. This enables students to more easily understand the core principles of their subject by having real objects in front of them. 3D printing is also increasingly being used to create bring-your-own-device (BYOD) kits for classrooms and laboratories, allowing students to experiment, play, and explore their ideas in a hands-on way. In general, 3D printing is an important tool for educational engagement, collaboration, and creativity.
