Zebus
Zebus are a species of cattle featuring a humped back, originally found in South Asia. They are well-adapted to surviving in tropical climates with high humidity and low levels of nutrients. Zebus are known for their high heat tolerance, resistance to ticks and flies, and for producing high quality milk and meat. They are a prominent source of agriculture for many rural communities in their region of origin. Zebus are also used around the world for their draught-force capabilities and as an animal used in religious ceremonies. This species has been a valuable part of many cultures for centuries and can be a sustainable source of food, agriculture, and labour.
