Weasels

Weasels are small, carnivorous mammals from the Mustelidae family. They are found in all parts of the world and live in forests, grasslands, and wetlands. Weasels have a long and slender body, sharp claws, and a short tail. Weasels are often considered to be pests, but they are also an important part of the ecosystem. They help to keep populations of small animals, like mice and voles, in check and help to keep agricultural pests at bay. Weasels also provide a food source for predators like foxes and owls. Understanding the role of weasels in our environment helps us to better manage them and keep the balance of nature.
