These horns are used to battle competitors for mates, defend against predators, and dig into soil and wood. The species is found in the rainforest and tropical climates around the world, and their diet consists of ripe fruits and the sap of trees. The Rhinoceros Beetle is an important species in the natural environment as they help to aerate the soil, distribute seeds, and are an important food source for many other animals and birds. They are also popular amongst insect enthusiasts, as they are easy to breed and keep and make good pets.
