Horses
Horses are mammals of the equidae family, often used for transport, leisure, and agricultural purposes. They have a long history of domestication, being among the earliest animals to be tamed by man. Horses are highly intelligent, strong and durable animals that possess a wide range of physical and behavioral traits. These include fast sprinting, jumping and endurance capabilities, which make them especially useful for a variety of tasks from recreational activities such as racing and show jumping to agricultural tasks such as plowing and pulling heavy loads. They are also powerful symbols of status and prestige throughout human history. In recent years, advances in veterinary science have improved the health and well-being of horses, making them an increasingly popular pet and hobby animals.
