Chinchillas
Chinchillas are small, adorable rodents native to the Andes Mountains of western South America. They have soft, dense fur that is highly prized for use in the making of fur coats and hats. Chinchillas are rapidly becoming popular pets due to their gentle and affectionate personalities – they are remarkably calm and affectionate, though can be skittish. Chinchillas require special cages and care, and because of their long lifespans (up to 20 years!) they require long-term commitments from their owners. Their unique and fluffy fur makes them one of a kind and impossible not to love.
