Carnivory
Carnivory is the behavior of certain organisms that feed on other organisms for nutrition. This behavior is important in the natural world and is seen in several types of animals, such as cats and wolves, as well as certain plants, such as pitcher plants and venus flytraps. Carnivory is essential to maintain a balanced ecosystem and keep populations of animals and plants in check. Carnivory also plays a role in nutrient cycles, helping to return essential nutrients to the environment.
