Arachnida

Arachnida is a class of eight-legged arthropods, which include spiders, scorpions, mites, and ticks. It is the largest and most diverse class in the phylum Arthropoda. Arachnids have a wide range of ecological roles, including predatory control of insects, important pollinators, agricultural pest species, and vectors of diseases. They are also popular as pets, providing interesting behavior and spectacular visual display. In addition, arachnids play an important role in human culture, inspiring myths and legends for centuries. Understanding arachnid biology is important for the agriculture industry, medical research, and conservation.
