Animal Wings
Animal wings are appendages found in many species of animals, most notably flying animals such as birds and insects. They are used for a variety of functions, including flight, gliding, swimming, and protection. Wings are essential to the aerodynamic forces that allow an animal to fly efficiently, as well as being an advantageous form of defence against predators. The study of animal wings has revealed much about the evolution of flight, and their design and form offer insight into the ways in which animals use their environment and adapt over time.
