Animal Husbandry

Animal husbandry is the science of the care and management of animals. It includes the use of genetic, dietary and environmental techniques to breed and raise animals to improve their health and productivity. Animal husbandry is commonly used in agriculture and livestock management as a means of providing healthy and nutritious food sources for humans, as well as other animal species. It also serves to safeguard animal welfare and conserve natural resources, such as feed and water. In addition, animal husbandry plays an important role in the conservation of animal biodiversity by maintaining genetic variation.
