Wake Therapy
Wake therapy is a type of treatment used to treat certain sleep disorders, such as insomnia and other circadian rhythm disorders. It involves staying awake during the night and sleeping during the day, in order to reset the patient’s body clock and make it easier to sleep. The patient’s sleep patterns are monitored throughout the therapy, and it is often used in combination with behavioral therapy and medications. Wake therapy is a safe and effective way to resume a more normal sleep pattern and can be beneficial for patients suffering from chronic sleep disturbances due to medical conditions or lifestyle.
