Stress Signaling Cascade
Stress signaling cascade is a biological process that occurs in response to stress stimuli. It is a complex molecular chain of events that starts with the reception of a stress signal by a cell and culminates in the production of molecules that modulate the cell’s behavior. It is an important process for regulating homeostasis and is crucial for defense against environmental stressors. It is also used to induce adaptive developmental changes and direct resilient responses to stressful conditions. Stress signaling cascade is of immense significance for understanding the molecular basis of diseases and for developing novel therapeutics.
