Sensory Behavior
Sensory behavior is the way in which an organism responds to stimuli from its environment. It is closely related to motor behavior, which is the ability of an organism to initiate actions. Sensory behavior plays an important role in enabling organisms to interact with their environment and to adapt to changes in their environment. It also helps to maintain homeostasis, the process of maintaining a stable internal environment. Sensory behavior has been studied in humans, other mammals, and other animals, and it has applications in a variety of fields, including psychology, neuroscience, and robotics.
