Semantic Networks
A semantic network is a type of knowledge representation system that models patterns of meaning in language. It is a set of linked symbol-based nodes (graphs) that are used to store, organize, and access information. Its primary purpose is to allow natural language processing systems to better understand the context and meaning of words used in a document or conversation. It is also used in a variety of AI applications, such as natural language understanding, machine learning, and recommendation systems. By using semantic networks, AI systems can better understand the relationships between words and identify patterns in text, which facilitates automated decision-making and improved accuracy in information retrieval.
