Puberty

Puberty is a natural process of biological and physical changes that occur in a child as they transition from childhood to adolescence. It is a remarkable period of transformation, during which physical growth, sexual development, cognitive maturity, and emotional health are all affected. Puberty is essential for the physical and social development of a child and is critical for their growth into adulthood. Not only does puberty restrain physical changes, but it also has a profound effect on behavior, social interactions and psychological well-being, such as increased self-confidence and assertiveness. Puberty is necessary for fertility, healthy sexual functioning, and the maturation of physical and mental development.
