Prosocial Behavior
Prosocial behavior is a type of behavior that is intended to benefit others, rather than oneself. It can be a voluntary action such as helping a stranger, or a more passive behavior like donating to charity. Prosocial behavior has been found to have various benefits such as improving physical health, reducing stress and depression, and improving relationships. In addition, it has been found to be beneficial to society at large, such as reducing crime and increasing overall happiness.
