Prisoner s Dilemma

The Prisoner's Dilemma is a classic game theory problem that examines the conflict between two rational individuals and the outcomes of different courses of action. It can be used to explain a wide range of social, economic, and political dynamics and is used in fields such as economics, philosophy, game theory, and evolutionary biology. In game theory, the Prisoner’s Dilemma is an example of a non-zero sum game, meaning that the outcome for one individual isn’t necessarily detrimental for the other. The consequences of the game are often based on a decision made by each individual in light of a lack of full information and conflicting interests. This game is of great significance as it is central to understanding the complexities of human decision making, interpersonal and group dynamics.
