Personality Tests

Personality tests are self-report measures used to assess traits such as introversion/extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, and openness to experience. In assessing these traits, personality tests can provide insights into how an individual thinks and acts. The results of these tests can be used for numerous purposes, such as informing decisions about career and lifestyle choices, helping individuals gain insight into their own behavior, and providing a tool for psychotherapists and mental health professionals to assess their clients. The advancement of technology has opened up additional uses for personality tests, including online pre-employment screenings and marketing research. By gaining insights into a person’s character traits, employers and marketers can better tailor their messages and strategies to that individual.
