Nicotine Replacement Therapy
Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) is a smoking cessation aid used to reduce withdrawal symptoms. NRT works by providing nicotine to the body without the use of tobacco, which is known to have significant health risks. It can be used in a variety of forms, including gum, patches, inhalers and nasal sprays. Research has shown that NRT can significantly increase the chances of quitting smoking, and many people use it to break the physical dependence to nicotine. NRT can be a great tool to help quit smoking and to reduce the risk of tobacco-related diseases.
