Mental Health Therapies
Mental health therapies are treatments intended to improve the mental health and well-being of individuals. Therapies can be conducted by a range of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. The most common therapies used for treating mental health issues include cognitive behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, mindfulness-based therapies, and family therapy. The primary aim of these therapies is to reduce psychological distress, increase the patient's ability to function in daily life, and promote healthy, adaptive behaviors. Mental health therapies can be helpful in overcoming conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and PTSD.
