Mental Health Schizophrenia and Other Psychoses
Schizophrenia and other psychoses are serious mental health conditions that can affect a person's thoughts, feelings, and behavior. People with these conditions may experience delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, strange thoughts and behaviors, and other difficulties. Treatment for these conditions typically involves both psychotherapy and medication to help manage symptoms and improve the person's quality of life. Schizophrenia and other psychoses can have a significant impact on the individual's ability to function in day-to-day life, and can even affect the ability of family and friends to support them. It is important to recognize the signs of these disorders so that early intervention and appropriate treatment can be provided.
