Mental Health Dementia
Mental Health Dementia is a serious long-term mental health condition that affects a person's ability to remember, think and reason, as well as the daily activities they can complete. It is a progressive disorder, which leads to increasingly severe symptoms over time, and it can have serious implications for physical and mental wellbeing. Dementia can have a significant impact on people's quality of life and can also affect the family and friends of those affected. Early diagnosis, specialized care and treatment are vitally important to help those living with dementia manage its effects and improve their quality of life. Technology, such as virtual reality and telemedicine, can also be used to provide support and assistance for those living with dementia and their family and caregivers.
