Menstrual Hygiene

Menstrual hygiene is the practice of maintaining cleanliness and health during a menstrual cycle. Proper menstrual hygiene is important for women’s health, comfort, and well-being. It helps to reduce the risk of infection, discomfort, and discomfort-related complications. Common practices of menstrual hygiene include changing sanitary products frequently, washing the genital area regularly, wearing breathable clothing, and keeping the vulva clean and dry. Menstrual hygiene is also important to reduce the spread of menstrual blood-borne disease and to prevent odors. To maintain healthy menstrual hygiene, it is important to use appropriate menstrual products, such as tampons or pads, and to follow through on proper disposal of used products. Adequate menstrual hygiene is essential to protect women’s health and wellbeing, and to promote gender equality.
