Inflammatory Skin Diseases
Inflammatory skin diseases are a group of disorders that cause inflammation of the skin, typically accompanied by redness, swelling, itching, and pain. Common inflammatory skin diseases include eczema, psoriasis, and contact dermatitis. These diseases can have a significant physical, social and psychological impact on those affected. Treatment of inflammatory skin diseases is tailored to the individual patient and can involve topical and/or systemic medication, lifestyle changes, and stress management. Early diagnosis and intervention can help reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.
