Existentialism

Existentialism is a philosophical system that emphasizes the existence of the individual and their importance as a unique being. It emphasizes the importance of choice and freedom, as well as the need to take personal responsibility for one’s life. The philosophy of existentialism has been a significant influence in many areas of thought, especially in psychology, literature, politics, and religion. Existentialism has been used to explore the themes of meaninglessness, alienation, nothingness, and freedom in literature, as well as to illuminate social and political matters such as racism and oppression. Existentialism is an important philosophical system that has had a tremendous impact on many aspects of modern thought.
