Depression
Depression is a mood disorder characterized by persistent feelings of sadness and loss of interest in activities that used to be enjoyable. It can also include feelings of emptiness and hopelessness, irritability, restlessness, anxiety, and fatigue. Depression can interfere with an individual's ability to work, study, eat, sleep, and enjoy activities. People diagnosed with depression can experience physical symptoms, such as digestive problems, headaches, and chronic pain, and may have difficulty concentrating or making decisions. It is important to seek professional help if symptoms persist, as depression can become severe and affect a person's mental and physical health. With proper diagnosis and treatment, depression can be managed, and individuals can improve their quality of life.
