Community Psychiatry
Community Psychiatry is a branch of mental health science that is dedicated to treating mental illness in the community. It focuses on providing individualized treatment and support services to individuals living in the community and emphasizes their involvement in their care. Community psychiatrists work together with other mental health professionals and community members to ensure that individuals receive the appropriate treatment and support. Community Psychiatry not only helps individuals manage their mental illness but also helps to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness, optimize community resources, and improve the quality of life for all individuals in the community.
