Behaviour

therapy Behaviour therapy is a form of psychological treatment that seeks to modify, reduce, or change behaviour. By focusing on learned behaviours that may be causing distress or impairing an individual's ability to function, behaviour therapy seeks to increase an individual's ability to adapt to their environment. It is based on scientific principles that include classical and operant conditioning, along with cognitive-behavioural and social learning theory. Behaviour therapy can be used to treat a variety of issues, from anxiety and depression to sleep disorders and addictions. It can also help people develop healthier coping skills or better communication skills. Behaviour therapy can be a safe and effective way to address mental and emotional issues, and to bring about positive changes in an individual's life.
