Behavioral Geography

Behavioral geography is the field of study that looks at the way humans interact with their environment. It examines the factors that affect people’s connection to their environment, such as their patterns of movement, the placement of their dwellings and the tools they use to interact with their environment. This field of study seeks to explore the impact of human behavior on the environment and how it can be used to inform sustainability efforts and other forms of environmental management. Behavioral geography allows us to better understand human behavior, how it shapes our environment and how we can better manage our resources and environment.
