Behavioral Disorders
Behavioral disorders are mental illnesses that involve changes in a person's behavior, mood, and thinking. These disorders can lead to significant distress and impair a person's ability to function in daily life. Examples of behavioral disorders include attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Treatment for these disorders typically involves therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes. Proper diagnosis, treatment, and support are important for improving the quality of life of those affected by behavioral disorders.
