Autism

Autism is a spectrum disorder, which means that it affects people in a variety of ways, ranging from mild to severe. People with autism typically have difficulty with social communication and social interaction, and may show repetitive behaviors and/or restricted interests. Autism impacts the ability of an individual to effectively interact with their environment and develop meaningful relationships. Early intervention and therapy are important for helping individuals with autism reach their potential. Through comprehensive treatment, people with autism can improve communication and behavior, develop social skills, and maximize their personal independence.
