Leopards
Leopards (Panthera pardus) are powerful big cats found throughout Africa and Asia. They are known for their light yellow and black spotted coats, which allow them to camouflage in their natural habitats. Leopards have long and muscular bodies, allowing them to climb trees and hunt prey with agility and speed. They are an important species in the ecosystem, as they help to regulate populations of other animals by preying on them. Leopards are also an important cultural symbol in many countries—they have been celebrated in art, literature, and mythology throughout history. By protecting leopards and their habitats, we can help to preserve the natural balance of these beautiful animals.
