Kangaroos

Kangaroos are large marsupial animals native to Australia and parts of Indonesia, New Guinea and Tasmania. They are well known for their ability to hop, using their powerful hind legs and tail to propel themselves forward. Kangaroos are an important part of Australia’s ecology and culture. They provide food for many species of animals, including humans, and their grazing helps to maintain balanced grassland ecosystems. In addition, kangaroos are important to the Australian identity, being featured in art, literature, and even on currency. Kangaroos are also used in many ways in medical research, providing insights into reproduction and disease.
