Applied Ecology
Applied ecology is a branch of ecology that applies ecological principles to solve real-world problems. It focuses on finding solutions to environmental problems and improving human well-being by managing ecosystems in a sustainable way. Applied ecology applies ecological methods and principles to promote biodiversity conservation, soil and water protection, and landscape management. It is used in the management of habitats, species, ecosystems, and land-use planning. It is also used to inform decisions in natural resource management, environmental planning, and climate change adaptation. Applied ecology is important for protecting our environment and providing sustainable services to human populations.
