Animal Science
Animal Science is the study of the biology and behavior of animals, and how they interact with their environment. It focuses on the welfare of animals, looking at their evolution, how they are managed, what they eat, and how they interact with humans. Animal Science can be used to help inform decisions about the best management practices for animals, improve animal welfare and understanding of animal behavior for conservation, help protect endangered species and develop improved animal-based products and services. Animal Science can be used to improve the efficiency of food production, control disease outbreak in livestock, promote animal health and welfare, improve animal nutrition and reproduction, and develop animal-friendly products.
