Remote Sensing & Geoinformatics

Remote Sensing & Geoinformatics (RS&G) is an interdisciplinary field of study that combines the science of remote sensing with the use of geographic information systems (GIS). RS&G involves the use of digital data to analyze and visualize the Earth's surface both spatially and temporally. It is used to measure, monitor, and analyze changes to land cover, natural resources, and urban development. RS&G has become increasingly important in the fields of environmental science, urban planning, public health, sustainable development, natural disaster management, and more. With the use of satellite imagery and other remote sensing techniques, it provides detailed and accurate information about our environment and can be used to identify trends and make informed decisions.
