Forecasting
Forecasting is the process of predicting future outcomes based on existing data or trends. It is a valuable tool in many industries, such as finance, business, government and weather prediction. By analyzing current trends and data, such as stock market figures or historical weather patterns, forecasts provide a way to anticipate what might happen in the future, enabling people to make educated decisions when it comes to investments, environmental management and public policy. In other words, forecasting helps people better understand and manage the future.
