Ecological and Environmental Phenomena
Ecological and environmental phenomena are changes in ecosystems, climate, or other natural conditions that have a significant effect on living organisms or the environment. These changes can both be beneficial and detrimental to the environment and can affect species, habitats, and human populations. Ecological and environmental phenomena can be caused naturally or due to human activities. Examples of natural phenomena include natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and hurricanes. Human-caused phenomena can include climate change, pollution, and deforestation. By understanding and monitoring these phenomena, and how they interact, we can protect ecosystems and species, as well as ensure that human activities and development are sustainable.
