Ecoclimatology
Ecoclimatology is an interdisciplinary field that studies the interactions between climate and ecology. It combines aspects of climatology, ecology, and earth science to better understand and predict the impacts of climate change on biological systems. Ecoclimatologists use quantitative models and observational data to examine the effects of climate on various species and ecosystems, as well as to explore management strategies for mitigating the effects of climate change. Understanding these effects is crucial for the future of environmental conservation and ecosystem health. Ecoclimatology is increasingly utilized in policy making, resource management, and conservation planning.
