Modeling and Measuring of Water Pollution
Water pollution is a global phenomenon, caused by a variety of factors, with potentially devastating implications. It’s therefore essential that it is monitored and controlled to protect our water resources and ensure a healthy environment. Modeling and measuring of water pollution involves using models to predict how pollutants can spread and affect aquatic systems, and measuring the quality and quantity of pollutants in existing water sources. Modeling and measuring can help to identify and monitor pollution sources, assess the impact of pollutants on the environment and water resources, forecast water quality, inform decision-making processes and develop more effective strategies for water pollution management and control.
