Hydrometeorology

Hydrometeorology is the science of connecting meteorology and hydrology, two important fields in physical geography. It is the study of atmospheric processes and water systems, and how they interact with each other to affect the environment. Hydrometeorology is a vital tool for understanding and predicting the amount of water availability in the environment, as well as extreme weather events, such as floods and droughts. It is also used to assess the impacts of land use change and climate change on water resources. Hydrometeorology is a key component of natural resource management and sustainable water management.
