Environmental Pollution and Public Health
Environmental pollution is a major public health concern that affects the lives of people worldwide. It is caused by the release of pollutants such as particulate matter (PM) and ozone into the environment. Pollutants like PM and ozone can enter our bodies through breathing, ingestion, and skin contact. Long-term exposure to these pollutants can lead to a variety of health problems such as asthma, heart disease, and even cancer. Furthermore, air pollution can also affect the air quality of our environment, making it difficult to breathe and reducing the air quality of our cities and towns. To protect public health, reducing environmental pollution is essential. We must work together to decrease emissions from vehicles, factories, and other sources to protect our health and environment.
