Short-term Memory
Short-term memory is a form of memory that allows us to remember information for a brief period of time. It is important for cognitive functioning, allowing us to recall and use information in the present. Short-term memory can be used in a variety of scenarios, from common activities such as holding a phone number in our head to more complex tasks such as problem solving. It is also necessary for learning new material and is a key component for success both in the classroom and in everyday life.
