Eye Movements

Eye movements are the complex and coordinated movements of the eyes that ensure clear vision and allow us to focus on objects in different directions. With the help of eye movements, we can accurately map and remember the environment around us. They also play an important role in cognitive functions such as reading, recognition, learning and attention. Eye movements can also be used to diagnose neurological conditions such as vision problems, developmental delays and some mental disorders. Furthermore, eye movements are used in various applications such as robot vision systems and autonomous vehicles. These movements help machines detect objects in the environment and safely navigate. By monitoring eye movements, researchers can also study brain activity, which can be used to measure the effectiveness of different types of therapies and interventions.
