Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a form of energy in the form of sound waves with frequencies higher than the human ear can detect. It is an important technology used in medical imaging, helping clinicians see inside the human body without the need for invasive surgical procedures. Ultrasound can be used to diagnose and monitor a wide range of medical conditions, such as pregnancy, cardiac and vascular diseases, and many types of abnormalities. Additionally, it is also used in fields such as therapeutics, surgery, and physical and occupational therapy. Ultrasound allows doctors to see inside the body without having to perform a dangerous or invasive procedure, thus greatly improving healthcare outcomes.
