Tropical Parasitology

Tropical parasitology is the study of parasites found in the tropical regions of the world. It focuses on the diversity and distribution of these organisms, as well as their effect on humans and other animals. Tropical parasitology has an important role in improving public health, as it provides insight into the spread of infectious diseases and helps to create strategies for prevention and control. Additionally, it can help identify new drug targets and identify potential treatments for existing diseases. Tropical parasitology is also valuable in discovering and monitoring new species of parasites and understanding their behavior in different ecosystems.
