Plant Viruses
Plant viruses are a group of viruses that can infect plants and cause disease. These viruses cause a wide range of symptoms, from wilting of leaves to stunting of growth and can even lead to the death of the plant. Plant viruses can be spread through a variety of methods, including by insects, wind and contaminated water or soil. Plant viruses can also be transmitted through the use of infected seed or grafting of infected cuttings. Plant viruses are important to understand and manage, as they can cause significant crop loss. Understanding and controlling the spread of plant viruses can help farmers reduce crop losses and maintain healthy and productive crops.
