Tissues

Tissues are collections of cells that work together to form a larger organ. They are made up of very specialized cells that are designed to do specific jobs. Tissues are essential to the functioning of the body, protecting and controlling the flow of materials and energy, as well as providing structure and support. Tissues are used for a variety of tasks, including nutrient absorption, movement and protection against disease. They are also important in wound healing, regeneration, and repair.
