Microtomes

Microtomes are specialized instruments used in scientific research and biotechnology. They are used to cut thin sections of tissue, cells, or other materials for examination and analysis under a microscope. The instrument is composed of a knife that is mounted on a precision-controlled slicing mechanism. By varying the slicing angle and depth, thin sections of material can be precisely cut for microscopic examination. Microtomes are important instruments for medical research, histology, electron microscopy, and many other scientific endeavors. This enables researchers to study the internal structures and composition of samples, providing valuable insights into their composition and functioning.
