Dermatopathology
Dermatopathology is a medical specialty which deals with the study of skin diseases at the microscopic level. This involves the examination of skin samples under a microscope to study the microscopic structure of skin and the presence of any abnormalities. This type of examination is important in the diagnosis and management of many skin diseases, such as skin cancer, allergic skin reactions, and inflammatory conditions. Dermatopathology can be used to accurately diagnose these conditions and to offer appropriate treatment. Additionally, dermatopathology can be used to evaluate treatment responses and to provide prognostic information.
